Marie Curie Coffee Morning by P 2/3

The boys and girls of P2/3 held a very successful coffee morning for their grandparents and parents, raising money for Marie Curie. They grew and sold daffodil pots, made cakes and sold daffodils. At the last count they had raised over £70 and still counting! Thanks to those who came and thanks to Mrs Robertson for her lovely scones and the office ladies for serving the tea.

Kilbowie Last afternoon

We have all had a fabulous afternoon with different groups skiing, cycling, hill walking, climbing, orienteering and out on Safari. The group this afternoon were very pleased to find a vole and watch Derek call for the sea gulls! We also got to enjoy Derek’s ‘patter’ as he taught us lots about the different habitats and wildlife we could see around the centre.  Now we have had dinner and it is onto the DISCO! Unfortunately this is our last blog from Kilbowie as we will be heading home in the morning. Thanks once again for all your messages, we have all been delighted to hear from so many of you. Remember we use the school blog to keep in touch with many of our other school events so please keep checking and sending us messages. Thanks again and see you tomorrow:)

Kilbowie Thursday

Another exciting day at Kilbowie, we can’t believe it is our last full day already! Today groups have already been out Gorge Walking (Mrs Brown really enjoyed this!) Canoeing, Navigation and Safari. As you can see from the last photo the water is extremely cold both in the sea and in the rivers but it doesn’t bother the children, they smile even more!
