Cambusnethan Nursery Class

At Cambusnethan Nursery we use our iPads in all curricular areas, which is used to film, record and photograph the children’s learning.  We find that the children’s current interests to use the iPads are to take pictures of their learning and “selfies”, from that the children then return to the pictures taken and talk about what they have taken.  From researching the app store I have found an app called Talking Pictures, where the children can voice record their previous learning.

We have been learning to use the iPads to record videos and take pictures.  Recently we have taken videos of each other retelling traditional tales. The children enjoy watching back the videos and they support self evaluation.

great benefits of using i pad in nursery

We have really enjoyed using the i pad technology within our establishment.  Within the nursery last year we had baby chicks that we were able to video hatching using the i pad  later we used  the  i pad with the children to recall and revisit the experience.
