Breakfast Club

Here at Woodlands Primary, we recognise that breakfast is important to our children and families. A nutritious breakfast sets the tone for the day, helping children arrive at school ready to learn, concentrate, and engage fully in their lessons. We understand that busy mornings can make it difficult for some families to provide a healthy start, which is why we’re committed to supporting our pupils with initiatives that promote the value of breakfast. By ensuring our children begin the day well-fed and energised, we are helping to build the foundations for both academic success and overall well-being.

We are supported by ‘Magic Breakfast,’  who say:

“At Magic Breakfast, we empower every child to reach for their dreams and thrive, one breakfast at a time. As a registered charity offering grass roots support, we also focus on being part of the solution through our campaigning and advocacy work with politicians and decision-makers. We are determined to end child morning hunger for good.”  The link to Magic Breakfast website is below:

Breakfast Club at Woodlands Primary is fully supervised and runs from 8:00am to 8:45am, providing a safe and welcoming start to the day. After breakfast, children head to the playground to enjoy some fresh air and social time before school begins at 9:00am. We offer a wide range of breakfast options, including bagels, crumpets, toast, and cereal, ensuring there’s something to suit every taste. In addition to enjoying a nutritious meal, children also have the opportunity to take part in a variety of engaging activities, helping them to feel calm, settled, and ready to learn.
