Hello from the Pupils

Whiting Bay Primary School is a very good school, the school encourages young pupils to take part or join many different clubs and school activities.
Whiting Bay has many supporting  teachers who will also challenge you.
The students are hardworking, friendly and very successful.

At Whiting Bay primary school, we have a wide range of outdoor education including, John Muir, Forest School, school walks and beach cleans.
During the school year we attend many competitions such as, Scottish country dancing, the school choir, art competitions, science competitions, sports hall and more !

We have a very big playground. Including a tarmac area, a big grass area, tarmac all the way round the school and a section of grass with a fitness trail. One of the best things about the playground is that right across the road there is a sandy golden beach with swans, otters, seals, porpoises and very rarely, basking sharks.

Every year we have the opportunity to perform a school show like :
Snow White, Snow Queen, Cinderella Rock-a Fella and Santa’s on strike.

We have a great connection with our community because we go carol singing and we visit the Arran Community Land Initiative. On special occasions we hold events like:
Burns supper, And coffee afternoons, Red Nose Day, Jeans for Genes!

We are two of the house captains for Holy Isle house, we hope you enjoyed our report on our amazing school.
