At the most recent North Ayrshire Presentation Evening, 75 Saint Matthew’s pupils received their awards:
- 57 Bronze Awards
- 18 Silver Awards
Pupils from the school’s first Silver cohort since 2018 also delivered a presentation about their expedition experiences to parents, carers, staff and council leaders, showcasing their achievements and personal growth.
The success of the programme at Saint Matthew’s is made possible through the determination of the pupils but also through the dedication of staff who volunteer their time to run training sessions, supervise expeditions and support pupils throughout every stage of their journey.
