Article 28 of the UNCRC states that children and young people have the right to an education no matter who they are, regardless of disability, gender or race, if they are in detention or if they are a refugee.
Article 29 of the UNCRC states that education should help a child or young person’s mind, body and talents to be the best that they can be. It should build their respect for others and the world that they live in.
Article 31 of the UNCRC states that children and young people have the right to play and have the right to have fun in ways of their choosing whether it is playing, drawing or something else that they have an interest in. They also have the right to rest.
