Welcome to our Primary 3/4 class!
Hello and Welcome to our Primary 3/4 class, which is taught by Miss McClymont (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and Mr Morton (Wednesday and Thursday morning). We have 21 pupils in our class ( 15 Primary Fours and 6 Primary Threes). We love learning and we are encouraged to do our best in all areas.
Our PE days are Mondays and Thursdays. We have been developing our skills in gymnastics and will soon be learning some Scottish dances.
We have the opportunity to explore our learning in different ways, through Active Learning including games and use of ICT as well as more formal texts.
In Numeracy we are working on subtraction, and will soon begin work on our times tables.
In Literacy we are learning how to answer recall and inferential questions following reading a short text (this term, a poem). We are also developing our fluency and expression when we read aloud. In writing, we are learning about the many stylistic features of poems and creating our own.
Parents/carers you can find out more about your child’s learning through Seesaw. If you have any questions or concerns you can contact Miss McClymont or Mr Morton through Seesaw or via the School office.
