Hello from the Pupils

Shiskine Primary School is an amazing school, the school encourages young pupils to take part or join many different clubs and school activities.
Shiskine has many supporting  teachers who will also challenge you.
The students are hardworking, friendly and very successful.

At Shiskine primary school, we have a wide range of outdoor education including,  Forest School, school walks and beach cleans.
During the school year we attend many competitions such as, Scottish country dancing, art competitions, science competitions, sports hall and more !

We have a very big playground. Including a tarmac area, a big grass area, tarmac all the way round the school and a section of grass with a fitness trail. One of the best things about the playground is the variety of equipment that we can use. We also have a lovely garden and greenhouse for growing vegetables.

Every year we have the opportunity to perform a school show like :
Snow White, , It’s a Ruff Ruff Night in Bethlehem and Santa’s on strike.

We have a great connection with our community because we perform for Senior Citizens and we visit the community coffee mornings. On special occasions we hold events like:
Burns supper, coffee afternoons, Red Nose Day, Show Racism the Red Card.

We are P5-7, we hope you enjoyed our report on our amazing school.
