The school consists of two main buildings that are joined by a corridor. The original sandstone building was built in 1865. A porch and extra room were built in 1900. This was renovated in 1968 and houses the gym / dining hall, kitchen and servery, office and entrance porch. The porch area now serves as the Classroom Assistant work area.

An extension was built in 1968 and contained two classrooms, staff room, library area and toilets. A further class was added in 1979. In the late 1990’s a small part of the school playground was covered in and became part of the school building as the Nursery Class. This was completed for use in August 1999. The playground area surrounding the buildings is covered in tarmacadam.

In recent years there has been an extension to the rear of the playground which has been appropriately fenced off and now allows a grassy area for the children to play. Large play furniture and a small trim track trail have been installed and this has added an extra dimension to the children’s play.
