At Lockhart Campus we provide an exceptional learning environment for learners who require additional support across their educational journey.  We have huge ambition and aspiration for every pupil, and our commitment to their success is combined with excellent pastoral support to make sure that pupils feel safe, secure and successful at all times.

This state of the art facility opened in August 2021 .  Lockhart Campus provides a range of benefits to our pupils including access to Hydrotherapy Pool, Soft Play, Sensory Integration spaces, Rebound facilities, STEM and Life Skills areas and immersive rooms.

Lockhart Campus is the amalgamation of Haysholm, James McFarlane, James Reid and Stanecastle schools, with North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership sharing and accessing the building to facilitate excellent multi-agency partnership working.

The sector leading facilities provided in Lockhart are a result of consultation with pupils, parents, staff and the wider community. It is an innovative, exciting and inclusive building which enables young people to build on their strengths and skills in a supportive and meaningful way.

We support pupils to develop a passion for learning and equip them with skills for independence.  We encourage intellectual curiosity and a positive growth mindset, which we foster through the delivery of a bespoke interdisciplinary curriculum, underpinned by the principles of Nurture, to enable all pupils to unlock their potential.
