Tesco Bags of Help cheque presentation
We were delighted this afternoon to receive our cheque presentation from Tesco. We will over the course of the next year receive an amazing £4000 thanks to Lizzy Duncan, who put in an application on our behalf. And huge thanks go to everyone from the Three Towns area who supported James McFarlane school by placing their blue tokens in our section in Saltcoats and Ardrossan stores.

Generous Donation
Emily, pictured below, came into school today to donate the amazing amount of £200 to the children in our school. Emily is the daughter of Yvonne Bennett from Rainbow House, who is a frequent visitor to the school. Emily used the skills she learned in Brownies to gain her baking badge, organised a bake sale at her church and raised £200 supported by the parishioners from the church.
Emily was also awarded her Community badge by Joanna Blane who works in the school and is also Emily’s Brownie Guide leader.
Thank you so much Emily and well done!!
Christmas Panto Time!!
M & M Productions once again visited the school with their production which is Pinocchio this year. They put on an amazing show, and every one of our pupils was mesmerised. CR was especially pleased as she got to use the Fairy’s wand!! We look forward to welcoming M & M Productions back in 2019 not once, but twice!
On The Move Sports Success!!
Over the past six weeks Stuart and Tommy from Fullarton Connexions have been in school delivering sports tasters to some of our pupils. This has been a huge success and we finished off this terms block by having a celebration of learning on Friday. Stuart and Tommy engaged us all in some of the sports the pupils have learned, and participants all received a certificate of achievement. We hope to see Stuart and Tommy back in our school soon!
Well done to everyone who took part.
Tesco Bags of Help
A huge thanks to Lizzy Duncan who has successfully applied for our school to be included in the Tesco Bags of Help fundraising scheme. James McFarlane will be one of three local causes appearing in Saltcoats High Road Tesco and Kilwinning Tesco during November and December. Simply ask for your blue tokens and pop them into our section of the collection stand and we could win up to £4000!
