“Dear parents/carers, we are finalising our school calendar for this session, and we are very keen to seek your views on when the Senior preliminary examinations should take place. The views of our senior pupils and staff have also been sought.
The Scottish Government has stated early this month that they expect formal SQA examinations to take place “if it is safe to do so”. Given the fragility of the situation due to Covid-19 pandemic, we are keen to ensure our senior pupils have every opportunity to produce robust, under exam conditions evidence. Prelims give our senior pupils the opportunity to do this.
We ask you to please complete this short questionnaire by Thursday 2nd September this week to allow us to make a final decision.
