Pupil Council

This session the Pupil Council introduced a coloured band system at lunch to help children to remember what option they had ordered for lunch. This system proved successful for a time.

We also carried out a survey about the noise in the open classrooms and found that children were finding the open classrooms too noisy. With this information the children wrote to the council and put in a request for the open classrooms to have walls built to create closed classrooms to enable them to better focus on their work. The council have taken this request seriously and are looking into how this could be made possible.

The children have also ordered a picnic bench for the playground as they felt that in the nicer weather it would be nice to have a place to sit, eat snack and chat with friends.

Next session the Pupil Council hope to help the Eco-Committee with some of their plans to improve recycling in the school.
