Scenic Countryside Walks

AM Farm Park is set within acres of beautiful, untouched countryside. When the property was transformed into a visitor attraction, we made it a priority to preserve the natural habitats and create a network of walking trails. These paths are designed to give families, tourists, and nature lovers a peaceful escape into the great outdoors.

Our Walking Trails

We offer three distinct trails to accommodate different fitness levels, walking preferences, and schedules. All routes begin and end near the main park entrance.

The Meadow Loop

Distance: 0.5 miles

Estimated Time: 15 to 20 minutes

Difficulty: Easy

This flat, completely paved path circles our central wildflower meadow. It is perfectly suited for families with young children, strollers, and wheelchair users. Along the way, you can spot bees, butterflies, and various species of wild birds utilizing our conservation boxes.

The Woodland Trail

Distance: 1.5 miles

Estimated Time: 45 minutes

Difficulty: Moderate

This trail takes you deeper into our ancient oak woodland. The path is made of natural bark mulch and features gentle slopes. It offers excellent shade on warm summer days and highlights native British flora, including bluebells and ferns. Benches are positioned at regular intervals for resting.

 The River View Ridge

Distance: 3.0 miles

Estimated Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Difficulty: Energetic

For those looking for a longer hike, this trail follows the outer boundary of the farm up to a scenic ridge overlooking the valley river. The terrain involves uneven grass paths and some steeper inclines, rewarding walkers with panoramic views of the entire county.

Wildlife Spotting and Conservation

Our trails cross through active conservation zones. Depending on the season and the time of day, visitors frequently spot a wide variety of local wildlife, including deer, rabbits, badgers, and birds of prey like red kites and kestrels.

We ask all walkers to respect the natural environment by staying on the designated paths, putting all litter into the bins provided, and keeping dogs on a short lead at all times to protect nesting wildlife.
