Parent Council

The Parent Council

The Parent council was set up in 2007 in order to support the school. We run a programme of events throughout the school year to both provide fun activities and raise funds.  Examples include the Christmas Market, Spring Fayre, School Discos and the Secrets Room.  We also support school events by providing parent volunteers for clubs, providing teas after class assemblies and help out with Christmas parties and the P7 Ceilidh.

Every year we help fund health week, P1 gym bags, and P7 Autograph books.  Last year we were able to provide up to £200 per class towards transport for educational trips and activitiese

We are keen to welcome new parents and welcome visitors to our meetings which are held on Wednesday evenings in school on a monthly basis.  We also encourage parents to join our facebook page to get more information about the parent council and school activities.
