Good morning P2/3! I hope you have been enjoying the lovely weather at the weekend and have been able to spend some time outdoors. Keeping active is important and sunny days are a great chance to make it fun too. But remember to wear a hat, put on sun cream and drink plenty of water.
Rights Respecting (Home) School:
Article 7: Every child has the right to have their own name and nationality. What is your full name? What is your nationality – that means what country you were born or grew up in. What countries can you think of that start with the same letter as your first name? Your middle name (if you have one)? Your last name? All the children that live in these countries have the same rights as you.
Reading and Writing:
Go to Oxford Owl and search for ‘What’s Inside Me?’ This is a book about how your body works. Knowing what is in you body can help you understand what is good and bad for your health. Make a chart or diary of what exercise and activities you do each day this week. What did you do? How long did you spend doing it? How did you feel after it?
Health and Wellbeing:
As part of your exercise diary, write about Miss McNab’s PE challenges that you have a go at this week – remember to look on her page for those.
Also, ask your grown ups to have another look at the new Health Week page for some updates about what will be going on in 3 weeks’ time.
Maths:
Shape challenges and games will be available on Sumdog and HAM from 10 o’clock.
Have a great week and keep in touch on our class Glow Team page.
Take care.
