Literacy
Countdown Challenge, Make as many words as you can with the letters in 30 seconds. Look up your words in a dictionary and thesaurus. Expand your vocabulary by finding different words that mean the same thing. Word Challenge
Sometimes if we spell things wrong or don’t use the correct punctuation, a sentence can have a whole new meaning. Look at the attached file and find the errors then correct them. Good Luck. Errors
Reading Comprehension Activity – Access the Whales text and answer the questions please. Reading Comprehension. You can either write your answers down or tell someone at home. Rights Respecting Schools
Article 24 – Health Care – ensures that every child has the right to the best possible health. What does this mean to you? We need food and water to maintain a healthy body.
Can you keep a diary of how much you have to drink over the day / week. Are you drinking enough? Fresh fruit drinks or fizzy drinks do not count. They need to include water, i.e water, diluting juice. Are you keeping yourself hydrated? It is actually quite difficult to ensure we are drinking the volume of water that we need. Be aware and try your best.
