Daily Exercise Challenge

Don’t forget to complete your daily challenge and add one extra repetition onto Friday’s numbers.

The Teachers’ Dance – Round 2

We couldn’t let you think that only half the staff were dancing so here’s the other half.

You can be the judge as to which dance was best!

Health Week Walk –Scavenger Hunt

Usually we complete our whole school walk as part of our Health Week. Obviously mass gatherings of such are not prohibited at the moment, however that doesn’t stop us going out for a walk ourselves.

The challenge is slightly different this time. We would like you to walk a minimum of 3 km although we realise the distance will vary from child to child.

In addition to this we are asking you to try and look for the following items.

These could be altered as you wish and here are some examples:

From a socially safe distance we would also like you to spread happiness amongst others, a smile and a say hello to other people you might see.

Enjoy and have fun, we would love to see your pictures.

Storytime 3 with Mrs Spencer– ‘Pee Wee the Lonely Kiwi’

The story and activity are aimed at the younger members of our school family. Sit back, get yourself comfy and enjoy the story! The story is all about friendship and being kind.

This weeks task is to complete a Kindness Diary.
Kindness Diary Worksheet

Kindness Challenge: Try and do at least one thing a day that is extra KIND and fill in your Kindness Diary. This might be for a member of your family, a friend, or a neighbour. I am sure that you can think of your own ideas but here are a few to get you started. Some of these things can be done on your own and some will need a bit of help, if you are in the lower Primary years:

  • Tidy your room (without being asked);
  • Phone/Video call a member of your family who doesn’t live with you;
  • Write a letter to someone you miss;
  • Take time to care for a pet (if you have one);
  • Give an extra big hug to someone who takes care of you and thank them;
  • Play nicely with a sibling (if you have one!);
  • Make a cup of tea for mum or dad (only for older children!);
  • Go and check on a neighbour and see if they need anything doing? (shopping etc);
  • Do little jobs around the house:  Set/clear the table, Wash up, Wash the car, Vacuum, Dust.

Enjoy!
