Science and Art

This week the children have been learning about volcanoes. We have been learning about the various name for parts of a volcano and what happens when they erupt.

The children are enjoying working in groups to create their own mini volcano and are very much looking forward to the science aspects, where they will be causing their own volcano to erupt!

During the week, we have looked at the appearance of volcanoes. The children have used their learning and observation skills to each make very different shaped and coloured volcanoes.

Next week they will be looking at the landscape found around a volcano and will then use this to decide how to progress with their group creation.

Keep checking back to see their progress!
