On Friday night I had the pleasure to take 6 pupils to the Moray young Citizen Awards as the school was nominated for the Primary School Award. It was a fantastic night with loads of food and entertainment from high school pupils. I am delighted to announce that Alves Primary was successful in winning the Primary School Award for 2016. This keeps our incredible record of 6 wins in 6 years. This year we were asked to present at the ceremony. I have never been so proud of our school when David, Jude, Niamh S, Lydia, Emma and Isla went on stage to represent our business groups and present all the community work the pupils do at Alves Primary and the impact it has had on them. Everyone at the awards ceremony was full of compliments at how confident our pupils are and how they conducted themselves throughout the evening. Well done boys and girls!
