As part of our Health and Wellbeing Sessions we have been learning about the rights of the child. To help our understanding we have linked our learning about children’s rights to the wellbeing indicators.
We have learned a song to help us remember what each part of the wellbeing wheel stands for.
Over last week and this week, we have been thinking about how each of us can be safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible and included. In class we have made our own SHANARRI flowers – each petal shows how we understand the eight parts of the wellbeing wheel.
The children wanted to share this with you all at home…
Eva: “We have been learning about the wellbeing wheel and this is a song we have learned.”
Maya: “The wellbeing wheel has eight parts in it.”
Robert M: “S is for safe, H is for healthy, A is for achieving, N is for nurtured, A is for active, R is for respected, R is for responsible and I is for included.”
