The Owl Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson
Both P1 and P2 have been working on a book this term all about a baby barn owl who did not like the dark. The classes got together this week to share our learning. We talked about our favourite parts of the original story(P1) and shared our own story about Plop the Owl(P2). The two classes worked well together and liked to see each others work.

Christmas story telling
Jean visited us in P1 and read her Christmas story. We were all in the story with some of our favourite things.
“I liked when Santa flopped in his chair, I like the bit with the chickens, I like the helicopter part.”
Christmas Fayre
We made crafts for our Christmas Fayre. We planned and drew designs then chose our materials carefully.We managed to sell everything we made. Thank you to all our customers!
Thanksgiving
We enjoyed a talk about Thanksgiving celebrations. We listened to the story of Plymouth Rock and heard how one
family celebrates this special day.
