About my work
I am an installation artist and I am a painter.
When working ‘off the wall’ my work tends to be an explorative process, combining images from the natural world and placing them or attaching them to the designed world. I am always drawn back to shape and texture and this is expressed in my paintings too. When working ‘on the wall’ I am engaged in colour, perspective, light and shapes and I try to reinterpret and design an image that captures a sense of ore at what I see.
I teach sculpture, life drawing, painting and mixed media workshops for children and adults.
