Welcome Back

At our first assembly of the year Mrs Meehan told all the children how proud she is of the way we have returned the school. We can say that we are a ‘Can- do’ school but the way we have coped with the challenges of changing playgrounds, having lunch and assembly in the PE hall, shows we really are ‘Can-do’ pupils. We have all had to be resourceful and resilient and Mrs Meehan and Mrs Maclennan told us how proud they are of how well we have adapted. Mr Simpson’s P7 squad have done a superb job of helping to get the hall cleared. Well done.

Welcome back to all the pupils in 7H. We know you will show how resilient you youare  when moving up to your new class and learning new routines. Have a great first week !

A Big Day Out for the Wee Room

After learning all about growing plants and running a Garden Centre, the children from the Wee Room went on a school trip today. First we had some fun at the Play Zone in Inverness. Then we went for a tour of Dobbie’s Garden Centre. Take a look at the video below to see what we got up to today.

Sports Day

Sports Day Update

Thank you to all who helped organise the two Sports days over the last couple of days. We managed to just dodge the rain so that both Sports could go ahead as planned. Special thanks to the PTA for supplying juice and crisps and for selling teas and coffees on the days. Thank you to the SFF helpers and the volunteers from Forres Academy Sports leadership course who helped the races run smoothly.

The final scores for the P4-7 Sports were

Stuart – 76

Douglas  60

Wallace – 93

Bruce  – 99

…but you were all winners!
