Primary 3 had lots of opportunities to ride their bikes safely in the school grounds during their week of bike ability. All of the children did very well and enjoyed being outside.

Salad Days Are Here Again!
Guess where we’ve been?
The children in the Wee Room have been learning all about the farm.
We’ve been learning about the different animals on a farm, the different types of machinery on a farm and where milk comes from.
Today we had a very special trip.
Can you guess where we went?
We needed to wear our wellington boots!
What time is it?
In P4/5N this term we are learning all about time. Today we decided to try something a bit different, so we went outside and made some large, analogue clocks using some of the playground materials.
We then worked in groups to show different times on our clocks and work out some tricky time problems. We had lots of fun!
Telling the time can be quite tricky so it is important to get as much practice as we can, both inside and outside!
What’s going on in the playground?
Since the start of the new session children have been enjoying the willow tunnel, Dot’s Den and a range of loose materials in their lunchtime break. Sticks, tarpaulins and tree ‘coins’ have proved very popular and it is great to see the amazing range of activity going on. As you can see from the photographs the children are being very imaginative, solving problems, building, balancing, collaborating and having a lot of fun. At the end of lunch break they have shown responsibility returning loose materials back to the store.
