The Space Bake Off
It’s been a busy week at home for P6/7M as many of them have chosen to complete the baking task set for their homework. The task was to bake some Space related cookies, biscuits or cakes.
As you can see we’ve had a variety of delights from constellation cookies, moon brownies, nebula biscuits, asteroids to planet cupcakes as well as ones with hidden surprises and popping candy! All were shared amongst the class and each one has been delicious 🙂
Mrs McRitchie is looking forward to receiving copies of the recipes so she can have a go making some at home!
Swim, Swim, Swim
Well done to the 12 swimmers who took part in the Moray Schools Swim Trials today – Ailsa Allan, Ashley Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Josh Angell, Bruce Evans, Rachel Gallacher, Cameron Jones, Erin McIntosh, Roslyn McRitchie. Leigh Morrison, Neve Morrison and Ellie Sutcliffe. All pupils were commended by the parent helpers on both their swimming performance and their behaviour and attidue. They were a credit to the school and we are proud of them all.
Each pupil participated in 2 different events and lots of PB times were achieved. Bruce won Silver Medals in his 50m Fly and 50m Freestyle races and Roslyn won a Gold Medal in her 50m Breast and Silver Medal in her 50m Fly. Congratulations to them both 🙂
The girls relay team of Erin, Lauren, Leigh and Roslyn swam strongly and vame home with the Gold Medal – fantastic achievement girls!
Many thanks to the parents who supported them at this event.
