Incredible Years

The Incredible Years Parent training has been successfully delivered to parent/carers in Midlothian since 2004.

The Incredible Years Parent training programme is offered to parents and carers of preschool and primary aged children and is designed to promote positive parenting strategies and to assist parents in managing behaviour.

The course offers parents and carers the opportunity to meet to discuss ideas and strategies, to help them gain confidence while boosting their child’s self esteem and improving challenging behaviour.

Places are limited and a free crèche facility is offered for the day time courses only.

Coffee and Catch Up

cupcake_c

From Monday 1st February the Nursery creche will open every Monday between 8:30 – 10:00 and again from 12:30 – 2:00 for Nursery and P1 families to drop in for a cuppa and a chat. This will be a great opportunity to get to know other families and have some time for a catch up.

While families enjoy the coffee and chat, your nursery children will be in the nursery as normal.

We need a name to advertise our new coffee sessions and have asked our parents to help decide by posting on the school facebook group. If you have a catchy name please share on the group or leave a comment here.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday 1st February. cupcake_c
