Christmas Cards

One of our lovely parents shared a brilliant Christmas card idea with us and we have decided to take it forward.

This year to save you all writing lots of Christmas cards to all your Nursery friends, we will provide you with one card to decorate at home. The cards will then be displayed on a tree in Nursery for everyone to see. We can’t wait to see all your amazing designs. Cards will be sent home very soon.

Nativity

Tickets on sale from Wed 18th November. 2 tickets per family and any left over will be available from Wed 25th November. Children attending also need tickets. Tickets cost £1.00 including tea/coffee and lucky programme.

Please note only pre-school Nursery children will take part in the Nativity.

PM Nursery – P2 at 1:30pm on Monday 30th November
AM Nursery – P2 at 9:30am Tuesday 1st December
P1 – 2 only on Wednesday 3rd December

Time to Tidy Up

Last week we introduced a new tidy up song. When the song starts everyone tidies the area they are playing in and when the song stops we all sit in our story groups.

Primary One Admission

  • We are holding two sessions at 8:30 or 2:30 in Nursery on Monday 16th November where you can enrol your child for P1
  • Office and Nursery staff will be on hand to support you and answer any questions
  • If you can’t make the 16th please enrol at the office on the same week
  • If Lawfield Primary is not your catchment school please enrol at your catchment school on the same week
  • We can support with any placing requests
  • P7 children will provide tours of the school on the day

To support the application we now require proof of your address which can only be in the form of Council Tax Notice, Child Benefit letter or Utility Bill and also your child’s birth certificate or passport.
