Welcome to the National 4 Maths section of the website.

National 4 Maths provided pupils with the opportunity to develop an understanding of commonly used mathematical concepts. The National 4 course is divided into 3 units: Numeracy, Expressions & Formulae and Relationships.

Pupils are assessed regularly as they progress through the National 4 course and on completion of all course content, they will complete an Added Value Unit Assessment (AVU), which has assesses both calculator and non-calculator skills. There is no final exam for the National 4 course however pupils must pass all unit assessments and the AVU in order to receive the full course award.
