Welcome to the Mathematics Department Website!

This website has been created to support our learners and their parents as they develop their mathematical knowledge, understanding and abilities.

The Mathematics Department at St Columba’s High School aim to provide a stimulating learning experience that will equip students with the numeracy and problem solving skills that will prepare them for life beyond school.

Pupils in S1-S3 work in primarily mixed ability classes where they will develop their mathematical knowledge, abilities and skills in preparation for future exams in the senior phase.

There are many opportunities for students to develop skills for learning, life and work in the maths department and in many of the extra-curricular activities that we offer.

Please take the time to explore the content of this website. The information section of the website provides further information on the department, support strategies that can be used at home, extra-curricular activities and a supported study timetable.
