A number of extra-curricular activities are offered within the SCHS Maths Department.
Board Games Club
The board games club runs every Thursday Lunchtime from 12:50pm in Mrs Mullan’s classroom (FF1.18). All S1 and S2 pupils are welcome to attend. Available games include:
- Chess
- Connect 4
- Scrabble
- Cluedo
- Snakes & Ladders
- Dominos
- Battle Ships
- and much more!
Numeracy Drop-in
A numeracy drop-in is available for all S1-S3 pupils on a Monday and Wednesday at lunchtime in Mrs Mullan’s classroom (FF1.18). Pupils are welcome to drop in at any time after 12:50pm for extra help with classwork or homework.
Credit Union
The maths department offers a credit union in partnership with Greenock’s Tale of the Bank Credit Union. This is run by S6 Financial Services students for pupils in S1 and S2. Further details to follow.
