As a practitioner and academic I have a wealth of experience engaging with communities, and facilizing projects for marginalized and at risk groups throughout West Central Scotland.  I am a strong advocate for equality and supporter of diversity in both my professional and personal life.  I am completing my PHD on the long term affect of youth work, to question whether engagement results in young people being more politically engaged, socially aware or more actively engaged with society.

Vision Schools is highly important to me for personal and professional reasons.  I have known several Holocaust survivors and am aware it is essential that their stories continue to be told.
