With over 25 years of teaching experience across school, authority, and national levels, I have led initiatives in CPD, focusing on political, linguistic, and inclusive education in collaboration with key stakeholders. Over 12 years, I spearheaded English as an Additional Language (EAL) strategies to support multilingual learners, fostering belonging and inclusion. My work includes policy development, addressing systemic inequalities, and creating equitable learning environments. Currently, my research explores schools as sites of difference, focusing on LGBTQ+ inclusion, identity, and power through intersectional, liberal, and queer frameworks to drive transformative practices promoting equity and diversity.
