Lynn Nisbet is a Lecturer in Education at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS). Prior to commencing this teaching position in 2020, Lynn was an Associate Lecturer at UWS and Principal Teacher at Crookfur Primary School, East Renfrewshire. Lynn’s school teaching experience is wide and varied, having taught in Australia and Scotland, with responsibility for Health and Wellbeing and Religious and Moral Education. Lynn developed an interest in teaching and learning the Holocaust through her involvement in teaching controversial issues and citizenship to undergraduate student teachers when she was an Associate Lecturer. Currently a member of the Vision Schools Scotland team, Lynn supports teachers in their continued professional learning in Holocaust and Citizenship Education.
