Programme overview
Our Exploring the Holocaust: UK Residential Course offers a fascinating programme of lectures and workshops designed to develop teachers’ subject knowledge and pedagogical approaches.
For teachers who have not completed any of our residential courses we recommend our Exploring the Holocaust: UK Residential Course as the first step in your Holocaust educational journey. It provides an ideal foundation for further study through our Teacher Study Visit programme and Annual Teacher Training Course at Yad Vashem. Over the last four years a large number of participants have progressed to attend one or both of these programmes following their attendance in Leicester.
The course is also suitable for those who have undertaken a Teacher Study Visit with us and are looking to deepen their knowledge before submitting an application to our most advanced course at Yad Vashem.
Educational sessions will be delivered by experts from the Holocaust Educational Trust and prominent academics engaging with the latest scholarship on the Holocaust.
