Although it is important to identify where we are now, it is not enough to stop there. We need to reflect upon how we can develop the skills where we are less confident and how we can transfer the skills in which we are confident and competent.

Organise and plan | When planning for assessments in university but also this would be an essential skill during my time as a teacher for example when organizing and planning lesson plans for the children. | I had to organize and plan for my semester one assignments. For this I had to plan when each assignment was due and therefore organize the time and resources I needed in order to get them finished by the deadline. |
Work under pressure | Having the ability to work under pressure will always be beneficial whether that be meeting university deadlines or creating lesson plans within the classroom. I also feel that working under pressure will become a large part of my MA1 placement. | Again, relating to my first semester assignments I feel I had the opportunity to develop my skills when working under pressure as I had all my assignments to prepare for. |
