Dr Lynne Duncan, Dundee University:
“Impact of shared reading on language and literacy development in young children learning English as an additional language”
Lynne Duncan gave an overview of the benefits of shared reading in EAL contexts, discussing the language(s) used as well as the type of reading material. Lynne also looked at the factors that can promote enjoyment of reading and the challenges or barriers in the use of these methods.
