Hello and welcome to our first blog post. We will update this regularly with things we are learning about in school.

All of the boys and girls in P1S have settled in well, and have been busy learning all about our school and class routines. We have had a tour around the building and decided to be “quiet, like little mice”, when walking through the purple wing (as the boys and girls in the purple wing were working really hard).

We have been learning our sounds and the actions to each of them. We have also been learning how to correctly form our letters. We have been using play dough, sand and water outside to help us learn the correct way to form them.  We have also been busy learning about numbers. We have been reading stories about numbers and will be hearing all about ‘naughty nine’ and ‘tiger ten’ this week.
