It’s the start of an exciting new term and we are back with our batteries recharged after a lovely Easter break. This week we are welcoming new children and their families to the Milngavie Nursery community and will be doing our very best to make sure they feel at home as quickly as possible.
This term is a really busy one – our pre-schoolers last term at nursery! They will be busy with Primary 1, exploring our new orchard together on an active learning project. Details to follow! Our graduations are on Tuesday 20th June at 11am in the Infant Gym Hall.
Our Nursery trip is on Friday 2 June – letters about this will come home this week.
This term is always one where we do lots of outdoor learning- please could everyone make sure their wee darling is fully sunscreened up before coming to nursery on sunny days. We are eternally optimistic that we might just have a summer and we really need to protect delicate wee skins! While the risk of headlice is still with us, it would be good if your child could bring their own sunhat to Nursery.
Apologies for the lack of Easter pictures – I left the ipad in Nursery over the holidays – I promise to catch this up, and the Orchard Work Day photos too!
