Last week Primary 1 had a showcase of their learning on Fairyland for their mums and dads. Our afternoon pre-schoolers were invited along to watch. It was fabulous-! They told us all about the things they have been doing, and they had all learned their lines amazingly well. We loved their song about Jack and the Beanstalk – Finlay was an incredibly grumpy giant and at the end, all the Primary 1’s cut down the beanstalk with very real looking axes!! We were all well impressed!! Visits like this make going in to Primary 1 a happy prospect for our pre-school children – they see old friends and enjoy the idea that next year it will be their turn to wield the axes!! Staff love it too- it is so nice to see our past wee ones – they grow up so much in one year and learn so much!
