news for parents

Week’s news – sorry it’s late!

This week in nursery we are watching our caterpillars grow.  Our ladybird larvae kit arrived too and we are hoping to breed ladybirds to release into our orchard.

Our farmyard and farm kitchen are looking great with lots of lovely farm art by the children.  If you haven’t had a look yet, please hop in to the Creativity zone and have a look at our learning wall.  We  are making leek and potato soup in the farm kitchen tomorrow! Yum!

Many thanks for the great response to the trip letter.  Lots and lots of people are going.  Apologies that we can’t take wee brothers and sisters on the bus – it is not covered by insurance.

Parents night interview times are up on the back of the hall door on Wednesday 24th May- please sign up for a time if you would like a chat with  your child’s keyworker.  If this date is not suitable and you would like time to talk about your wee star, please just ask and we can arrange a time after nursery for you.

Tickets are on sale for the Big Nursery Night Out at the Fraser Centre on 19th May.  They cost £5 each and there is an honesty box on the radiator in the hall to put the money in.  We are really grateful to Angela and Sheila for organising it – all profits are going to the Nursery fund!!

It looks like good weather all week – please remember sunscreen and a sunhat- essential for outdoor play!  Many thanks!
