The Location settings replicate some of the settings in the menus dashboard page. They also allow you to create other locations for menus, which can be in a widget or by a shortcode on post or page.
In the above screenshot there are the three menu locations provided by the theme and 2 I’ve created to use menus in the shortcode example.
