Bobby is currently Qualifications Manager at the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), responsible for a range of ICT-related qualifications. He has specific responsibility for SQA’s Internet safety and online child protection awards.

Bobby’s first degree is Computer Science and he also holds a post-graduate Masters Degree in E-Learning from the University of Edinburgh. He has had a number of papers published in national and international journals, and has given talks on education and assessment at universities in the UK and Europe.

He was responsible for the development of SQA’s suite of online child protection qualifications, including the Professional Development Award in Online Protection & Safeguarding of Children, the first qualification of its type in the world.
