ART

“CREATIVITY CAN BE DEFINED AS A PROCESS WHICH GENERATES IDEAS THAT HAVE VALUE TO THE INDIVIDUAL. IT INVOLVES LOOKING AT FAMILIAR THINGS WITH A FRESH EYE, EXAMINING PROBLEMS WITH AN OPEN MIND, MAKING CONNECTIONS, LEARNING FROM MISTAKES AND USING IMAGINATION TO EXPLORE NEW POSSIBILITIES.”

(Scottish Government, 2013)

This activity when done with pupils, could take place over a series of short lessons making it easy to fit into the busy curriculum.

MUSIC

For music we looked at the resource Charranga which enables those, like me, who are not particularly talented to be able to successfully teach a music lesson to the whole class. We looked at the different features the website has and how to use them successfully in class.
