Expressive Arts

Please visit the Expressive Arts Professional Learning Community.

It provides:

  • professional learning in different aspects of expressive arts with a focus on progression, skills, learning, assessment, moderation and teaching;
  • career-long professional learning opportunities of various types such as broadcasts, professional reading and action research; and
  • an easy to use environment where you can share and work with colleagues from across Scotland as well as those from your own school or authority.

The Expressive Arts Wakelets are a helpful collection of Expressive Arts links to materials stored online which can be part of the learning experience within Art and Design, Dance, Drama, Music and Music Technology. These links are not the only area specific resources available, nor are they endorsed as the only materials to consider using.

This exciting, challenging and fun collection will make it easy to access  Expressive Arts materials from one place. Please check which are available and suitable for use within your Local Authority as well as age and stage appropriateness.
