In the story, The Bongles strive to protect their treasure from The Crafty Crows and learn how to achieve this though trial and error. This unique rhyming story is part of the wider Bongles collection, created by Edinburgh publishing company, Story Learning Ltd. The Bongles and the Crafty Crows story was developed with the support of the National Cyber Security Centre, Cyber Aware, Scottish Government and Education Scotland.
Within the early level curriculum in Scotland, children are supported to assess and manage risk and understand the impact of risk-taking behaviour in all aspects of play and learning; this includes the safe and secure explorations of digital technology – Cyber Resilience and Internet Safety.
