Class Committee

Class Committees are groups of students who work together to make positive contributions to our school community. These dedicated committees focus on various aspects of school life, from promoting eco-friendly practices to organising exciting events. Through teamwork and creativity, they help shape a vibrant and inclusive school environment where every student’s voice is heard and valued.

Here are our class committees –

Primary 1

Gardening Committee: Discover the wonders of nature with our Gardening Committee. We nurture gardens, learn about plant life, and create green spaces that foster a deeper connection with the environment.

Outdoor Learning Committee: Our Outdoor Learning Committee invites students to step outside the traditional classroom and into the wonders of nature. Through hands-on outdoor experiences, students will gain a deeper understanding of the natural world, learn about local ecosystems, and uncover the value of environmental stewardship. Together, we’ll foster a love for outdoor learning, spark curiosity, and develop a profound connection with the environment.

Primary 2

Community Links Committee: Building strong ties within our community is the focus of our Community Links Committee. Through partnerships and outreach, we aim to strengthen our connections and make a positive impact on our local community.

Primary 3

Eco Committee: Join our Eco Committee as we champion sustainability and environmental stewardship. From reducing waste to promoting Eco-friendly habits, we work together to create a greener, more sustainable future for our school and community.

Primary 4

Rights Respecting Schools Committee: Our Rights Respecting Schools Committee is committed to ensuring that the rights of every child are upheld and respected. We learn about the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and work to integrate these rights into our school culture.

Primary 5

Health & Well-being: The Health & Well-being Committee at our school is dedicated to promoting a positive, healthy, and balanced environment for all students, staff, and the wider school community. This committee focuses on implementing programmes, activities, and resources that support physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connections. From organising wellness workshops and fitness initiatives to fostering a supportive atmosphere for mental health, the committee plays a crucial role in ensuring everyone in our school can thrive both academically and personally.

Primary 6

Fair Trade Committee: Our Fair Trade Committee is dedicated to promoting ethical consumption and raising awareness about fair trade practices. Through various initiatives and events, we aim to make a positive impact on global trade by supporting fair wages and sustainable farming practices.

Primary 7

Laudato Si Committee: Join us in living out the principles of Laudato Si, Pope Francis’s call to care for our common home. We explore environmental stewardship, sustainability, and our role in protecting the planet.
