Looking for a way to support our school? Get involved with our Academy Acorns Project.
Why this project? The school purse is being stretched year upon year and whilst it covers what our children need for their education, funds don’t cover the extras like school trips and a wide variety of extracurricular activities.
What is the Acorn Project? Ever been asked to bring a small contribution to add to the party buffet table, only to find the table not big enough to hold all the sausage rolls and crisps? Let’s apply this idea to our school – let’s make small contributions that grow big impacts.
How can you get involved? We are asking those interested to set up a small monthly donation to support Annan Academy (could be £2) and let your small contribution grow big impacts.
Where will the funds go? The Parent Council will work with the school to share out the funds. Every term we will let you know how your acorns were planted through an update on Facebook and the School App. You can also come to our Parent Council meetings to hear more about it – everyone is welcome.
