We have started an exciting energy saving mission this week. We have been working hard preparing to take part in Switch Off Fortnight. We have walked round the school and completed an in depth survey of the electrical products switched on. We found that lots of the classrooms in our school had lots of items left switched on and standby when not in use, especially at lunchtime. Therefore, we have worked hard to raise awareness this week. We have placed posters up around the school and visited all our classes to ask them to pledge one thing which they are going to try to save energy. We really enjoyed visiting everyone in the school to share what we have learned. Albert will be tracking the electricity meter for us. Fingers crossed we can make a difference!
