This week we made posters for our litter picks. We will share these at assembly.

Today we made our eco comity notice board more noticeable.

We also decided that we are going to do a litter pick every 2 weeks, so one week litter pick skip 2 weeks and then do another litter pick.

The litter picks will be on the 25th of May and the 8th of June with another one the last week so the playground is super tidy for the summer break.

Today we looked at a waste  audit  and we looked at the most waste in school which were paper towels an food waste . This can be composted.

Todays blog post was written by Emmanuel Miko and  Antos.

Thursday lunchtime was the first meeting of our newly formed Eco Committee!  We spoke about what had brought us there, Miss Duguid and Mr McCallum showed us some of the things we would be doing to lead the school towards positive change for the environment and we took some great photos!

We are very excited to share our progress with you! We have successfully saved 100kW of energy in the month of November. We are very proud of our teamwork across the school. We would like everyone to try to make these small changes at home too. Not just in school. Let’s keep our energy saving mission going!
